President: Job Description


  • Reports to the Administration and General Membership.

  •  Is the primary point of contact to the Administration.

  • Coordinate the work of all the Officers and Committees so that the purpose of the organization is served.

  • Approve all newsletters, flyers, or notices and have approval by Administration prior to distribution.

  • Represents the organization at meetings outside the organization.

  • Is excepted to meet with all chairs over the summer to help plan that chair's involvement throughout the school year.   

  • Brings Leadership and Unity to the entire board.

  • Responsible for being on the Checking Account and able to sign checks.

  • Accepts Responsibility for all vacant chairs or appoints a interim chair.

  • Gives Schedule of Events to Event Chair.

  • Cost Compares PTO Insurance at the beginning of the new school year. 

  • Calls Mandatory Meetings.

  • Personally thanks all major Sponsors.

  • Communicates with PTO Members.

  • Decides with Admin the Fundraising goals and relays to Executive Board.

  •  Responsible for keeping up to date records on google business.

  • Expected to be at the majority of the events and help in any other means necessary.

  • Host the New Board Summer Meeting held in July.
